The Ecologic Institute is a leading European not-for-profit environmental
policy think tank. Founded in Berlin in 1995, with additional offices
in Brussels and Vienna, it is a member of the network of Institutes
of European Environmental Policy and provides information to the
public as well as research and advice to government agencies, international
organizations, as well as educational and civil society institutions
on both sides of the Atlantic. It has now opened an office in Washington,
D.C., which will help inform the public and promote transatlantic
cooperation on climate and energy, environmental protection, and
infrastructural transformation.
The German Marshall Fund of the United States is pleased to mark
the opening of the Ecologic Institute’s Washington, D.C. office
with a cocktail reception at its headquarters at 1744 R St NW.

The event is part of the launch of the Ecologic Institute's Washington
DC office. A weeklong
series of transatlantic environmental policy seminars is being
held from April 20-23.
