About the Course

The course on "International energy and climate policy" by Sascha Müller-Kraenner at the Hertie School of Governance during the fall term of 2008 addresses the interrelated challenges of energy security and climate change and asks how the European Union could play a leadership role in advancing international climate policy and a regional energy security policy.

The lectures on "Changing Climate - Changing Future" by Ecologic Institute Director R. Andreas Kraemer and the guest lecture by Michael Mehling, President of Ecologic Institute in Washington DC giving a US perspective and an outlook on future policies were part of the course on "Managing change of policies and institutions" of Jobst Fiedler, Associate Dean of the Hertie School.
